The problem

01 / 04

No real-time sales

Sales were written down during service and tallied by hand after closing. The day's numbers only existed once the night was over.

Waste spotted too late

Stock was checked at month end, so waste and shortages surfaced weeks after they happened.

Hand-computed payroll

Payroll was worked out from shift hours on paper, with every total computed by hand.

No single view of the numbers

Sales, stock and payroll sat across notebooks and spreadsheets. No one could see the whole operation at a glance.

What I built

Three things it does really well.

An end-to-end operations dashboard that automates daily sales reporting, tracks inventory in real time, computes payroll from logged shifts, and surfaces top-performing menu items — later deployed as a separate app for a second shop.

Point of sale

A till built for the rush

Staff tap to build an order and split payment at checkout.

  • Menu and pricing managed from the admin side
  • Order history with payment method and notes
Shawarma Shack — A till built for the rush
Reports

Sales reporting in real time

Revenue, expenses and net profit update as orders come in, instead of a nightly tally.

  • Revenue by category and bestsellers
  • Expense totals by day, week and month

Orders

Every order on record

Every order is logged per cashier, filterable by payment and date.

  • One order log across all cashiers
  • Deployed separately for a second shop
